Coaching
Private Coaching & Personal Development
Individual coaching focused on personal development, relationships, decision-making, and life transitions.
Non-clinical coaching available nationwide.
Why Coaching?
Not every difficult season of life requires therapy.
Sometimes you're functioning well, but something feels unclear. Coaching provides a structured, collaborative setting to focus on relationships, personal direction, life transitions, and career.
The focus is on where you are now, the decisions in front of you, and what you want to accomplish.
Our approach is informed by psychology and an understanding of how past experiences can influence present-day patterns, relationships, and decisions.
Coaching recognizes that history without making it the focus. The emphasis remains on where you are now and what comes next.
Coaching may involve identifying patterns, considering different perspectives, and examining the circumstances you're navigating. We provide perspective and feedback while you determine the direction you want to take.

Coaching Is Not Psychotherapy
Coaching may be provided by a licensed psychotherapist; however, coaching and psychotherapy are separate services with different purposes and scopes.
Psychotherapy is clinical mental health treatment and may include assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of mental health concerns.
Coaching is non-clinical and focused on personal growth, relationships, decisions, transitions, career development, and future goals. It does not include mental health assessment, diagnosis, psychotherapy, or treatment of mental health conditions.
If concerns arise that would be more appropriately addressed through psychotherapy or another clinical service, we will discuss that with you.
Is Coaching the Right Fit?
Coaching may be a good fit if you:
Are not seeking mental health treatment
Are navigating a decision, relationship, transition, or change
Want greater clarity about what you want or what comes next
Value honest perspective and thoughtful guidance
Want to approach your choices with greater intention
Are ready to turn insight into action
You do not need to have everything figured out before you begin.

Professional Notice
Coaching may be provided by a licensed psychotherapist; however, coaching and psychotherapy are separate services with different purposes and scopes.
When providing coaching, the clinician is acting in the role of a coach, not as the client's psychotherapist. Coaching does not establish a therapist-client relationship and does not include mental health assessment, diagnosis, psychotherapy, trauma treatment, or treatment of mental health conditions.
A clinician's professional education and experience may inform their approach to coaching, but coaching remains non-clinical in nature.
If concerns arise that fall outside the scope of coaching, appropriate next steps or clinical resources may be discussed.
